The pile was huge and we had to at least get it off the street before it started to rain. And rain it did for the next 24 hrs!
We covered it up with a big tarp so the rain wouldn't wash it away.
The pile was getting smaller . . . but still alot of sand to shovel
This is what the back yard looks like right now. Rufus doesn't like it a bit. He tries to find 'green' spots to do his buisness. He also doesn't like his paws wipped before coming back in the house.
Hopefully this will prevent the backyard from flooding.
I guess it's pretty obvious who worked hardest on this. . . . Thank you BABY!!!
Special thanks to our friend Jay-Dzzog he came by and helped finish up the job.
Oh and if there will be a 'next time' we'll pay somebody to pump the darn dirt in the yard!!!

I agree with you, it does suck to spread dirt. We use to do it about every three years. One of the great things about living here is that nothing sinks b/c we live on a mountain....the only thing I ever see us doing is adding top soil and flowers to our garden, then add hay on top of it I'm told it stops the dirt from running off...guess I'll let you know when we do it.I'm glad to see all is well with you both and Rufi...I sure do miss you all!!! Remember who loves you ...until next time God bless you!!
Love, Mom
By the way..nice looking guy you have there Ellen to move your dirt..Does he take jobs out of town too? lol!!!
I'm sorry, he's only licensed in the 504!
