We met my friend Julie and her husband in Baton Rouge and went to the Zoo. We had a great time! We have to do this again, soon!!
We got to see alot of cool animals. This giant tortoise lives to be over 100 years old.
This little guy was just chillin'
The giraffe really has to bend her legs to eat.
This guy was taking his bath . . .
and took a swim afterwards . . . doesn't that kinda defeat the purpose??
My grandma used to have a parrot just like this one. His name was "Sarge", actually she still has him, but he's stuffed now LOL
They had bunches of turtles that you could feed.
This is 'good eatin' according to Emile !!
This little thing was soo cute
And the gators of course, they didn't move . . . very unmotivated.
Now this is a pretty kitty, I wonder if Rufus would like to play with her LOL

This guy was using the toilet just as we walked by. That's why he stood right at the edge.
These guys seemed bored, didn't move either.
Too bad our friend Claudia couldn't make it. You'll have to come along next time. We might be planing a shopping spree. :) :)

Great pictures but where are the gorillas or apes? You took some really good shots are you going to use any of them as wallpaper? Maybe, when we come in we can go there huh? "L" did your grandmother really stuff her parrot? The only thing missing in the pictures is a picture of you and Emile....Why is that? Please take shots of you and my son every now and then as I miss you both a lot......well tell my grandson "Rufi" hi for me......Love you both, Mom
