Early morning visitors

These guys came to pay us a visit a few days ago. Emile opened the door when he left for work and there they were. They seem to be a couple and we have seen them in the neighborhood in the past but they never came this close. They were right outside the front door. They came back the other day and I fed them some bread. You'll always see some along the canals, and people feed them their old bread when they get stuck at a light. I always forget to bring the bread . . . maybe they thought they'd just pick it up LOL

After they ate they strolled over to get a drink in Mr. Henry's puddle.

Bye duckies, see ya next time.

Oh, and Rufus acted a fool. He jumped up against the glass door and barked like crazy.

I lived there for close to 35 years and the only thing that got on my lawn was "dog poop". It's nice to see them though I have always felt that ducks dropping by is a nice thing. You need to put clean water out for them so they can dine at the Marallo's for the entire meal.
