Happy New Year 2009

Another year has passed. Last year wasn't all that bad. We had to deal with 'Gustav'. For about 2 wks our lives were out of the ordinary, poor Rufi had to have surgery; other than that we got to spend a wonderful vacation in Europe, got a new kitchen, a new truck, and have much more to be thankful for. As long as everyone stays healthy in '09 we'll be happy. Well, a little Powerball win wouldn't hurt :)

My parents are still here and have to go back Thursday. We went to the French Market Sunday and afterwards to their favorite bar, 'Lagers', they have about 500 different kinds of beer to include German beer.

Here are finally some pictures of the Saints game. It was my first time in the Dome as well and our seats were great.

Head Coach Sean Payton - Don't know what he told the guys, but I think he should have made himself more clear.

It was an awesome, very exciting game but the Saints lost by 2 points!!!

Maybe they didn't hear him b/c of their helmets?? I still believe he holds his playcard upside down during the game. They better figure out something so they'll make the playoff's next year.

We are back at work and our next day off will be Mardi Gras. With Mardi Gras comes Crawfish Season. I've been waiting long enough! . . . I love those little mudbugs.

Rufus has been home since New Year's Eve and is doing fine. We keep him in the office to keep him still. He doesn't like that too much but hopefully we can let him walk around a little more by this weekend.
