We had our first Garage Sale today. Emile had to work, but a friend of mine came over to sell some of her stuff, too.We had it from 10-2 and it was advertised in the paper yesterday and today. We also hung flyers in some of the stores and put a sign up on the front lawn a few days ago.
One customer that stopped by asked if the house was for sale because of the sign out front. . . nope.
We sold our entertainment center, to the neighbors, LOL, a recliner and a makeup table. I really wanted to sell my MIL's dryer and a Apple china set. I only sold 2 shirts, and also couldn't get rid of any VCR tapes, books and other stuff.
My friend said that she will have one by her house, soon. They don't have as many regulations as we do so we can get started early in the day. Hopefully I will sell some more stuff there and for whatever is left, I will have another sale at our house. I then will sell everything for $1 or less.
I took a picture of the Apple china set and will post it on our board at work. The dryer is already on it. Hopefully someone will buy the dryer soon.

Sorry you didn't sell as much as you would have liked..I'm also sorry you didn't sell the dryer. Don't give up though things will get better. People I think for the most part are saving for school supplies and clothes to get the kids back in school. Also thank for Winston's picture I love...well take care of yourself.
