We didn't book any shore excursion while in Mexico. We decided to just relax and do some shopping. We went to the shopping orientation talk they had on the board one day and got all kinds of tips on what to buy or what not and where to get the best deals. They have a whole shopping mile. We took a cap to the Forum Shops, which was kind of the beginning of the shops and walked our way back.
Most of the stores were jewelry stores, some where gift shops, others sold liquor and of course vanilla. Every store had the best deal, just for you today only!! At the orientation talk we were told that jewelry is very cheap. I tried on a ring that was $ 22.000 . . . I think we thought of two different kinds of 'cheap'!!
We went inside and it's really the smallest in the Word - it has to be!!
Before we left the boat they told us several times not to drink the local water and to be careful about what we eat so we won't get sick. We asked at one of the stores where the locals eat to have some real mexicican food and they recommended "La Choza" a really nice & clean place. I had to get the margarita (with ice from their water) it was soooo good!! One of the best I have ever had.
This was only my food!! I couldn't eat half of it. It was delicious!! We will definitely go back next time!
After lunch we went to Carlos 'n Charlie's. Everybody talks about this place and we had to go check it out for ourselves. It's as crazy as they say it is!! It's a party place and a lot of fun if you want to get wasted!!
On our way back to the pier we saw this Starbucks . . . the coolest one I have ever seen.
Be made sure to be back in time to catch the boat. They made it pretty clear that they would not wait on anyone. We had to be back by 4.30 and the boat left at 5 pm. If you miss it you'll have to wait for the next one to come around. We had to get back to Rufi, otherwise - we might have been a few minutes late.

I'm so glad you had to nice time. Looks like a nice place to visit...wish I could have been there to enjoy it with you. Remember I love you both and call when you have the time....Mom
