Dolphin Tour/LuLu's

We went on a dolphin tour in the intracostal waters. The captain of the boat told us that the islands in those waters are very rare. In fact, they only exist in Gulf Shores and Ft. Walton Beach, Florida.
The houses are gorgeous and start at about 1.5 million dollars. This is one of our favorites.
These islands are very private and can only be accessed either by boat or by this bridge. When using the brigde you have to show proof of residency or you won't be let on the island. We got to see a few dolphin's. It was kind of hard to take pictures of them. By the time I hit the button on the camera they were gone again.
The dolphin's followed the boats that were catching shrimp. The boats had their nets hanging out of the back stirring up food for the dolphins.

They would follow the boat, sometimes more than one and swim back and forth between the different boats which is like a buffet for them.
We also passed some birds on the way back.

After our dolphin tour, lunch at Bubba's, a shopping spree at the local outlet mall (it's huge!!) we went to LuLu's. LuLu is Jimmy Buffet's sister who own's a restaurant right at the Marina. We have been wanting to go for a while but it has been so crowded every time.
Our wait was estimated to be 1.5 hours, but we made it in faster.
We sat outside and had a frozen drink while we waited.

After checking out the beach in the morning and some more shopping at the outlet mall we started our jouney back to NOLA. Traffic was horrible, it took us about 2 hrs just to get back on the interstate. Next time we will either stay an extra day or leave early in the morning.
