We are hoping, that he'll move a little bit further to the west, sorry you guys in Lafayette and Lake Charles!! Right now we are on the BAD side of the storm which means, the water from the Gulf will be pushed up the mouth of the river, and all that water will be pushed into Lake Pontchartrain and that's our A$$ because I cannot image that the levees can take all of that. Especially the ones they did emergency repairs on 2 days ago!!
There is nothing we can do other than put up as much as we can and get out of harm's way. Our flood insurance will take care of the rest.
Rufi will be coming with us to the hospital. We already made a trip over there today to drop off some of our stuff.
As of right now we have to report to work at 7 pm Sunday night. This may change. I'll try to keep the blog updated so ya'll know what's going on.
Say some prayers, we can use use them.

don't send that thing to lafayette now, you hear me?! people are going nuts out here. heute morgen ist kaplan evakuiert worden, leider haben dan und seine familie auch ihr business da. wir werden wohl ab montag dann bei dans onkel udn tante (die, bei denen ich damals austauschschuelerin war) sein. die haben so ein monsterhaus, was bis jetzt noch jedem sturm stand gehalten hat. ich hoffe, dass das auch fuer gustav gilt. :-(
