Project: Kitchen

We are finally starting to remodel our kitchen. The cabinets will be delivered on the 15th. This is what our dining room looked like:

We had a wall of mirror's. I thought it was kind of funny, when people first walked in they thought someone was standing there and it took them a minute to realize that it was only a mirror. There is an opening to the left side of the mirror which leads to the kitchen:



This is the door from the kitchen to the garage.

and this is what I did with it:


We took out the pantry and a huge kitchen closet and all kitchen cabinets of course. It really didn't take that long to take all the sheetrock out. It was a little messy but not as bad as I thought it would be.

This is what we live in now. I can't wait for it to be done. Tomorrow the hall will be framed and maybe we'll see progress every day when we get home.

Thank God we had a trailer out front and were able to throw all the trash in there.

We were both beat this stuff wear's you out but it will be sooo worth it in the end.
