The New Room

is almost complete. We primed the walls and are waiting for the floor to be done to put on the final coat of paint.

We decided to have the concrete stained instead of getting tiles. Wooden floors would be out of question anyway since I wouldn't want to rip them out everytime the house floods, hopefully it won't ever flood again but you just don't know.

and here's my Fleur d'Lis, it got painted on yesterday with a border all around the room. It still needs some spots touched up and it all needs to be sealed. I love it!!!


We'll also put another accent wall in there, just need to pick a color. Too many to choose from.

Here's my Rufi, happy when all this construction stuff is over. He doesn't like power tools, way to noisy for him.

9 days until we take off for Germany. Ran some errands last weekend for my family. Happened to find 2 pair of Jeans on sale at Macy's for myself. Really cute and saved 60 bucks!!

The sales are unbelievable right now.
