Garage update

Even though I haven't felt like blogging lately there was progess in our Garage. The gate has been taken out and the front of the house was framed,

as well as the back. There will be a door leading into the laundry room.

Last week the sheetrock was hung and it was mudded and floated. The new windows were delivered yesterday and 2 of them installed. The one in the front will be installed tomorrow.

We are really excited about the room being done. There isn't a rush for it but once we start something we want it done and over with. Our plans have changed a few times about what we'll be putting in the room, I guess we'll just play it by ear.

AC/DC is coming to New Orleans and we'll have to go see them. Tickets went on sale at 10 am on a Saturday morning and believe me I was ready. 9.30 am I sat on my laptop with my credit card and wasn't going to miss the sale!! It's really convenient to see a band or a game in the New Orleans Arena. It's only about 20 minutes away, soo glad we don't have to travel hours like we had to when living in Germany.

I got really tired of my hair lately and went to get it chopped off last Sunday (I love love love to be able to get that done on a Sunday!!) I had 3 inches cut off and my roots touched up.

They always do such a great job. I'll never be able to make it look like that in the morning.

I am really excited about going to Germany next month. We've had these tickets since January, back then I wouldn't have thought I'd be going to my brother's wedding as well. It just happens to work out that we'll be there for his 30th birthday and his wedding.
