Since it was only the 3 of us we just had turkey, dressing (my grandma's recipe which is the bomb!!) and of course some cranberry sauce.
This was Rufi's plate.
And he cleaned it up, too.
We had a good day, ate, slept and ate some more . . . that's just what you do on Thanksgiving Day.I made a pie, too. One of those lazy people pie's where you get the pre-made crust and whip up the filling and pour it in the crust . . .well, I should have gotten a pecan pie at the store.
Here are finally some pictures of the kitchen. The ceiling still needs to be re-textured.

We are really happy how it turned out and glad that we didn't go with our original plan of putting in a bar.

We are all rested up for Black Friday tomorrow. I don't think we'll be getting up at 4 am but we do want to go to WalMart and maybe JC Penney to pick up a few bargains.

Don't know how long we can take the crowds. That's the only part I don't like about the holidays, the stores are like a zoo. People on their cell phones, stopping RIGHT in front of you or even back up and then give you a stupid look . . . WHAT is wrong with these people??
