We finally made it to Audubon zoo. We've been wanting to go for a while but for some reason made it to the Baton Rouge Zoo before we made it to our own. The weather was gorgeous and it wasn't toooo hot.

Here's one of my favorite part of the zoo "Louisiana Swamp" It looks very real, even though it's man made. I prefer this over the real thing since I don't have to watch for snakes hanging over my head.

I still don't know if I would stay in one of these.

And the white gator . . . one of the big attractions.

and of course the white tiger who was pretty tired, he didn't even look up.

Just like all these other guys. I think the heat got to them and they just wanted to chill.

I think this little guy held on to the stone because it was cool

This little guy had enough energy to swing around

while these guys seemed to be waiting for something

maybe for food like this little fella??? He reminded me of Rufus, this is how he looks out of the window, too.

We really enjoyed the zoo and have to take my parents next time they are in town.
Afterwards we had to make a quick stop for some Gelato and Cannoli at Brocato's.

the turtles are my favorites.
You'd like the turtle farm on Grand Cayman!!
