We thought we'd celebrate with some good food, movies and some fireworks later on tonight.
We started our day with some blueberry buttermilk pancakes from scratch. They were amazing.
For lunch we had BBQ ribs, baked beans and Mac & Cheese. I made this Chocolate and Berries Yoghurt dessert
and some good ole rice krispies treats.
Rufus always lingers in the kitchen waiting for something to hit the floor.
We watched some movies, took a little nap and we're all rested to go to the lake and look at some fireworks and have a few drinks.
Since Independence Day falls on a Sunday this year, the Federal Holiday is tomorrow and we get to take the day off. You gotta love America!!
