Christmas Eve 2008

My Mom decorated our tree (again) since she didn't get to decorate a tree at her house. On the right (the other left!!) is the picture of a nativity scene that my parent's got us for christmas. They actually had a crate made so they were able to check it as luggage and take it on the plane. The picture is hand painted and the scene, little trees and steps and figurines are actually glued onto the picture. I guess I should have taken pictures before most of the gifts were opened DUH

We went to Church on Christmas Eve, then had a nice little Dinner and opened gifts. Germans get to open their gifts on Christmas Eve, guess they can't wait until Christmas morning :)

Santa brought my parents Saints jackets, which they really liked. And then there was this 'other' present. Santa got them tickets to a Saints Game!!!! My Dad has been talking about going to the Superdome for years. Santa must have had enough and made his dream come true :) They were really surprised and would have never expected it. We drove past the Superdome a few days before Christmas and Dad was wondering if the Dome was sold out for the next game. I hit my big grin and sucessfully convinced him that it had been sold out for months. Mom in Missouri got us some great and very usefull gifts, too. Emile was very excited!! He loves his socks.

The Tiramisu coffee smells so good that you just want to take a bite out of the box. I also got some very comfy pajamas and I've got a Bluetooth !!!

Santa was very good to all of us. Thanks Mom and Bill for picking out this awesome smelling coffee!!

Rufus' gifts are still under the tree and will be opened as soon as he gets home.
