Everybody was going crazy. . . not the 'normal everyday crazy' I mean really crazy. It started this morning before I went to work in Baton Rouge and on the Northshore, right after I got to work it started snowing here, too and didn't stop until around 11 am.
You should have seen the crowds outside. People taking pictures, standing in the snow to get snow all over their hair. No, thanks. Don't feel like getting sick.
Last time it snowed down here was 4 yrs ago on Christmas Day.

I heard some people say that after the last time it snowed Katrina hit. I guess they got plenty of time to move before Hurricane season comes around again.

So much for global warming :)

By the time I drove home tonight, the snow was gone and the streets were dry. Some people still drove as if there were 3 ft of snow in the street. Thank God there wasn't I think people would have just stopped and left their cars in the street.
Send these people a Hurricane and they have all these plans in place, everybody (well most people) know exactly what to do but a little frozen water scares the crap (my pastor said you can say crap :) ) out of them.
I'll be in the 70's by the weekend again.
Rufus is still in Baton Rouge. The vet tech called this morning and said that he's fine, he ate and he put his toe's on the ground. He went outside and didn't like the snow. We'll pick him up tomorrow.
